Message to world and business leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos – 21 January 2020
“This is Lewis Pugh, UN Patron of the Oceans. I’m sending you this message from Antarctica, where the ice sheet is melting at an unprecedented rate.
My message to business leaders and to world leaders gathered in Davos today is that we simply cannot waste any more time. Change is happening, and fast. We don’t have 50 years, or 20 years, or even 10 years to cut our carbon emissions. It has to happen now. “
