Roz Savage
Charting New Waters
Roz Savage is the first and only woman to row solo across three oceans: the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian. She was inspired to undertake these voyages by an environmental epiphany during a trip to Peru, when she first heard about retreating glaciers in the Andes.
She used her ocean-going adventures to capture people’s attention in order to share her message that humanity must learn to live in harmony with nature. A captivating storyteller, she shares her insights on building resilience, navigating uncharted waters, and finding magic outside one’s comfort zone. She has completed a doctorate on sustainable living, and published her fourth book, The Ocean in a Drop: Navigating from Crisis to Consciousness, in 2022.
Roz’s achievements earned her four Guinness World Records and she was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II for services to fundraising and the environment. Embarking on a new adventure, Roz was recently elected as a Liberal Democrat MP for South Cotswolds, bringing her unique perspective to Parliament. She also founded The Sisters, a global network empowering women to create a more peaceful and sustainable future.
